The Hathaspace HSP002 Smart Air Purifier 2.0 is a great choice if you have a larger space to purify. It’s currently Amazon’s best-selling air purifier and there’s a reason for that. The HSP002 is a bit more expensive than most of the air purifiers we tested, but it also comes with some great features.

First, it comes with a 5-year warranty and has superior HEPA filter technology that catches 99.97 percent of 0.3 micron particles and 99.95 percent of 0.1 micron particles. It also comes with a washable pre-filter, which is something not every purifier offers. It also has an autoclave sterilization system, which helps neutralize odors and viruses, though you’ll need to buy a separate sterilization pack to use it after each cleaning.
The HSP002’s app lets you set reminders to replace the filter and gives you information about your air quality. The app can be a little slow to load and isn’t quite as intuitive as the app for the Blueair air purifiers we tested, but once you get used to it, everything works well enough. You can even use the app to set up timers so that the purifier runs when it’s most useful to you; for example, you can have it turn on at 7 a.m. every day so it’s ready to go when you wake up.
The HSP002’s design makes it easy to move from room to room. Its height isn’t too tall, so you can easily put it behind a couch or against a wall without worrying about blocking your TV or limiting your seating space. It also has three speed settings that are easy to toggle between, so you can choose how much airflow you want at any given moment.
If you have a large space that needs purifying or want some extra perks like a washable pre-filter or sterilization technology, the HSP002 is an excellent choice—though it does come at a higher price than most purifiers on the market today.
